Facial veins (telangiectasia) are similar to those found on the legs and the rest of the body except that they usually are not under as much pressure as the leg telangiectasias may be. There are numerous factors that cause these veins such as; sun damage, heredity, rosacea and other medical conditions, hormones and physical trauma. These veins are quite easy to treat with laser and often respond with one or two treatments. The satisfaction rate is tremendous with this treatment and results can be immediate. Down time is minimal as there is some swelling post treatment but rarely is there any scabbing or other significant side effects.
