Who is a good candidate
AcneZap is a great fit for adults and teens 16 and older with mild to severe acne who want an option beyond antibiotics and retinoids, or who could not tolerate them. It is safe for all skin types.
Results build gradually, so it is not an overnight fix. Let us know if you are pregnant, take blood thinners or have recently used isotretinoin. Acne scars are a separate concern, best treated with microneedling or SenzaLux.

Is AcneZap the same as AviClear?
Yes. AcneZap is simply our name for AviClear laser acne treatment at Senza.
How many treatments will I need?
Most people need 3 sessions, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart, whether their acne is mild, moderate or severe.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel warmth and a quick snapping sensation. A built-in cooling tip keeps the skin comfortable, and each session takes about 30 minutes.
When will I see results?
Many people notice fewer breakouts after the first few months, and results keep improving for up to a year after treatment.
Is there downtime?
No. You may be a little red for a few hours. Use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer and mineral sunscreen afterward.
How should I prepare?
Avoid tanning, retinoids and harsh exfoliants for several days before treatment. We will give you full instructions when you book.
Is it safe for darker skin?
Yes. AviClear is cleared for all skin types.
