Peels suit most people who want brighter, more even skin, especially with sun damage, acne or dullness. They pair well with facials and microneedling as part of a skin plan.
Deeper skin tones can be treated with careful peel selection. Avoid sun exposure before and after treatment, and let your provider know about retinoids, recent waxing, or a history of cold sores.

Does a peel hurt?
Most people feel warmth or tingling for a few minutes. It is usually very manageable.
How much will I peel?
It depends on the peel and strength. Light peels may only flake; deeper peels shed for several days. Your provider will tell you what to expect.
How many peels will I need?
Many people see a glow after one, but a series of 3 to 6, a few weeks apart, gives the best results for pigment, acne and texture.
Can I wear makeup afterward?
Usually the next day for lighter peels. Follow your aftercare instructions, use gentle products and wear sunscreen daily.
