Spot treatment
Sun spots, age spots and freckles break up under quick laser pulses and fade over the following weeks.
Some concerns need one precise target, not a full-face treatment. Our targeted lasers clear a single sun spot, a red cherry angioma, a skin tag or a stubborn fungal nail, usually in a short visit with little downtime.

Face, neck, chest, hands, body and nails.
Your provider examines each spot. Anything that looks unusual is checked before any treatment.
Quick, precise laser pulses treat only the spot, or a gentle large beam treats the whole face, depending on your plan.
Pigment darkens and flakes off, red spots fade and skin tags form a tiny scab, usually within one to two weeks.
Most spots clear in one to three visits. Fungal nails improve as healthy nail grows out over several months.
These treatments are a great fit for sun spots, freckles, uneven tone, melasma, skin tags, cherry angiomas, venous lakes and fungal nails. They pair well with SenzaLux when you want both an overall refresh and a few stubborn spots cleared.
Any spot that is changing, bleeding, itchy or irregular in shape or color should be checked by a doctor first. Melasma can flare with heat and sun, so it is treated gently over time and needs daily sun protection. Avoid tanning before and after treatment.
Targeted lasers clear individual spots. SenzaLux resurfacing evens tone and texture across the whole face. Many patients do both. Learn about SenzaLux →
It depends on the spot. Brown pigment responds to MedLite, PiQo4 or Excel V, red and purple vascular spots to the Excel V, and fungal nails to a laser designed for nails. Your provider chooses at your visit.
A gentler MedLite treatment using a large beam passed over the whole face instead of targeting single spots. It brightens and evens tone with little downtime, and is often done as a series.
Yes. We combine Obagi medical skin care with a special low-energy MedLite setting designed for melasma, over a series of visits. Daily sunscreen is essential to keep it from returning.
Most people feel a quick snap, like a rubber band. Treatments take only minutes.
After spot treatment, brown spots usually darken and flake off within one to two weeks. Red spots may look a little darker or bruised for a few days before fading.
The laser treats the fungus, but you see the result as healthy nail grows out, which takes several months for toenails. A series of treatments is usually recommended.
Treated spots are gone, but new ones can form with sun exposure and time. Daily sunscreen helps keep your skin clear.
Cost depends on the number and size of the spots. We will give you a quote at your visit.
