I have always been conservative when it comes to augmenting the lips. I like a very natural appearance and would rather be on the conservative side since it is easy to add more but you have to wait it out if you feel like there is too much fill. My favorite filler for the lips is Juvederm. If the patient is willing, I like to define the lip border with Cosmoplast first and add some volume with the Juvederm. I think this gives the most natural lip augmentation you can get. If you keep up with touchups every 6 months or so, the correction can last for up to 9 months over time.

In the age of extreme makeovers, where televised plastic surgery leaves many scared of going under the knife. I like different fillers for different areas of the face so in a consultation we go over the pros and cons of each and come up with a good treatment plan for each individual.
